The National Literacy Agency’s Read at Home/Aqra d-Dar programme offers children and young people aged 0-17 the chance to borrow a wide variety of books to enjoy at home.

Participants can borrow up to 6 books at a time, with titles available in both Maltese and English and carefully selected to suit different age groups and interests. These collections reflect current availability and can be accessed here: https://readathome.library.site/. We’ve highlighted the main collections below, too.

To enrol a child or place a new order, parents or legal guardians are invited to complete the online application form here: https://forms.office.com/e/CJhjY8P3sQ.

Books are delivered free of charge and may be returned after 5 weeks. When returning books, participants are kindly asked to use the original envelope to facilitate the exchange for new ones.
