The Agency collaborates with Parentcraft Services, to deliver the seminars Nurturing the love of reading in babies/Inrawmu t-trabi jaqraw about the importance of reading aloud to babies. These seminars are intended for groups of expectant parents and parents/caregivers of new-born babies. The sessions are delivered online on Microsoft Teams and, on a face-to-face level, at the National Literacy Centre at Ħamrun Malta and at Barts Queen Mary University Campus, Victoria Gozo.

The seminars are held either in Maltese or in English. Parents who attend these seminars are offered a pack of literacy resources to use with their baby. Each pack consists of three picture books for babies, three information books with guidelines on how to read with babies and toddlers and how to foster a love of reading, a CD with Maltese nursery rhymes, bookmarks with literacy messages, information leaflets about read-aloud programmes and guidelines for parents, and a puppet for use during reading.
