Writing Stars / Brillantini tal-Kitba
The programme Writing Stars/Brillantini tal-Kitba awards primary, middle, and secondary schools’ students who excel in writing and seeks to offer them opportunities for further development.
Every year, Year 6 students attending primary state schools, who excel in writing, are awarded by a Writing Activity held in Rome and the Vatican. These Writing Stars and literacy educators visit various historical sites and participate in creative writing activities.
The Writing Festival for Writing Stars of middle schools is held annually for students attending middle schools (State, Church and Independent) to meet local and foreign authors. The authors support Year 8/Form 2 student-authors who excel in writing, to develop their writing skills by discussing, planning, and writing texts of different genres.
