The objective of Enriching Classroom Libraries/Aqra Kemm Tiflaħ is to provide Primary School and Kindergarten classroom libraries with high-quality books that appeal to children. Each classroom is being allotted a selection of books in English and Maltese. The books are of different genres, including both non-fiction and fiction. In this way, children are offered a wide range of books to choose from and take home with them to read for pleasure.

In addition to providing books, the team behind the programme has developed resources to further encourage students to read. Among these are interactive games and activities for before, during and after reading. These resources seek to create a space for children to work alone at their own pace. Accordingly, answers are provided for self-check both for the interactive games and for the three activities designed around each book.
